Those who read the ‘Montagne Jannesse Volume Miracle and Ultra Shine Serum’ must be aware of my hair texture and how much I love the products which promise to provide volume to my fine but soft hair!
Two weeks ago this shampoo was advised to me by the hair dresser, whose mind I was eating by asking questions about the extensions and the tips to take care of them. The only concern I have with extension is that though it can make my hair heavy but what would the process of applying them do to my natural hair. Well that’s a different story :(.
Fingers crossed.. with high hopes from this shampoo I came back home!
The company claims,
Fine and Limp
Volume starts with this lightweight, body-boosting shampoo. The Mineral Expand technology expands the space between each hair fiber for optimal volume with a natural touch.
Distribute evenly through wet hair and lather. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat the process if necessary.
It is slightly on the thicker side and doesn’t leather much. Read the rest of this entry

And left their parting gifts on my cheeks… ekkkss! Ever since I am in distress and hate looking at them… Do I need more reasons to pick this mud pack?? 😦

Texture of my Hair:
I have Fine, Silky hair which tend to get oily if I don’t wash them every alternate day. Actually I used to wash them daily because on the day one they are really good and well behaved and second day they are oil factory. Now I try to manage by half tying them so that I don’t wash them much.
And because they are fine and silky I find the lack of
bounce volume. 😦
Precisely this is the reason this hair mask caught my eyes and interest!
I used to see many face masks of this particular brand being reviewed on some of the blogs but didn’t know where to buy these from. On a fortunate trip to NEW U ended my search.
They say, ‘Turn up the volume and give lifeless hair a lift! First give it a boost with Bilberry and Hawaiian Ginger Volume Miracle, followed with Ultra Shine Serum to shape and shine.’ Read the rest of this entry
I was sitting/dreaming/staring at something right in front of me.. so I thought of letting you all stare at it too 😉
Well I was dreaming and thinking ‘what these two can do to my skin and hair’ as I am going to use them for the first time 😀
Reviews coming soon… :p
Because i have oily scalp and was going out regularly for the past 5 days, I kept washing my hair. I don’t want them to look oily at all when I step outside. But there was this guilt feeling which forced me to let my hair drink up some beneficial things and I made this instant hair pack.
I have always heard and read that Eggs are rich in protein and the relationship of hair with protein should be really strong to keep them healthy (therefore, eggs are directly proportional to
hair healthy hair! :p). It adds volume and shine also to the hair. So without second thoughts egg has to be a part of my hair mask.
Take 3-4 eggs depending upon your hair length and beat them.
Then, came the Castor oil as it protects, moisturizes, strengthen and simply loves the hair. You may read more about this wonderful oil here.
Reetha, Amla, Shikakai, Mulatani mitti are all good for hair… right! So that’s why I have a bought powder of all these to include in my hair mask. 🙂 (The powder I have has all of these mixed.. easily available at any of the Ayurvedic store). Read the rest of this entry
I am back with another post to help in solving this real big problem of those ugly dark circles around our eyes. I know there is not even a single person who would say that, ‘I don’t mind them at all!’. They not only make the eyes look tired but steal the sheen our face possesses. Stocking up with concealers isn’t a very nice option always. I would prefer to go for some natural options to fight them.
The root cause of these big dark circles could be many, depending on your lifestyle too. Some are listed below:
- Lack of sleep.
- Drinking less water.
- Lack of Iron in diet.
- Bad blood circulation around eyes.
- Any illness or weakness in the body can provoke them.
No one wants to have those panda eyes and go out, right??? And there are things we can’t avoid from happening, for instance, you have a lot of work load because of which you are not getting enough sleep but getting enough of dark circles!
I understand there are unavoidable circumstances and yes, people do come to us with concerned faces to advise ‘you know you should get enough sleep’ (as if we don’t want :(). There are things which we can’t help! And that’s where these remedies come into picture! 😉
